Of the first 16 results, only 5 products are available via Amazon Prime. By using Amazon Prime shipping, you could differentiate yourself from the other 11 products in one important respect.

The current supply situation with 670 products is manageable compared to other product ranges. In addition, the current CPC bids are still comparatively low, which indicates that the advertising opportunity is not being used very much.

Conclusion:

When selecting keywords for Sponsored Product campaigns, I chose the most popular search queries that were not brand searches. Among the 10 most popular search queries for "meditation cushion + X", there are five search queries for a specific brand that sells meditation cushions. This indicates that there are already established brands for meditation cushions and customers are actively searching for these brands.
To get a feeling for the possible advertising costs, we can now determine them approximately:
Average CPC = 0.50 €
Estimated conversion rate (high): 10 % → Advertising costs per sale = €5
Estimated conversion rate (medium): 5 % → Advertising costs per sale = €10
Estimated conversion rate (low): 2 % → Advertising costs per sale = €25
If we now put the average sales price of €29.83 in relation to the advertising costs at an average conversion rate (5 %), we can assume that we would have to spend around €10 on product sales via sponsored product campaigns. Sooner or later, this would mean that sales via advertising campaigns would not be scalable and profitable.
However, a higher sales price (€39.99), which can be justified by special features of the meditation cushion - such as the use of organic cotton or GOTS certification - could bring the ratio between sales revenue and advertising costs per sale to a level at which sponsored product campaigns are profitable.

Where a lot of sales are generated, competition is usually also high. The biggest disadvantage with meditation cushions is that there are already some established brands that customers actively search for. Conclusion:
As a first FBA product, meditation cushions may be a little too competitive. However, the search queries could be used to develop a product that is partially different.
