Optimization of the advertising campaigns of a customer from the "DIY store" category

Results after 30 days: Reduction in advertising costs by 46% with no change in advertising revenue = improvement in ACoS from 35,36% to 19,18% in just one month

Initial situation before the collaboration

As Amazon Ads Agency we have been supporting a client from the DIY store category since the end of December 2022. Since December, we have been optimizing the client's advertising campaigns on a monthly basis. 

The customer has a very large and heterogeneous product portfolio, which means that the structuring of the advertising campaigns is very important. Over 150 different sponsored product campaigns are currently running. The expenditure for the advertising campaigns (before the collaboration) was €10,500 in November 2021 & €8,030 per month in December. The advertising turnover in December 2021 amounted to approx. 22,700€€ and the ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend) was 2.82 (ACoS at 35.26%).

Results after just 30 days

After just 30 days of working together, we were able to significantly improve the performance of the advertising campaigns.

Advertising revenue rose steadily to €22,700 and ACoS improved to 19.18%. This corresponded to an improvement of 46%. The most successful month to date was November 2022 with advertising expenditure of €5060, advertising revenue of €25,300 and an ACoS of 20% (in November 2021, the ACoS was still at 35.21%). 

During the course of the collaboration, we not only advertised the existing products via Amazon Ads, but also worked on the launch of new products in particular. By optimizing the advertising campaigns, we were able to significantly increase the client's sales and also successfully launch new products. The collaboration with us has therefore paid off for the customer from the DIY store category.
